Raksha Foundation is a non-political, non-religious, but a social & charitable registered Society under Act (XXI of 1960) and as amended by Punjab Amendment Act. 1957. Which shall endeavor to eradicate social evils and shall educate public against illiteracy, social reforms against dowry, rape, drug addiction etc. Organize free medical/ blood donation camps. To work for social causes, to help & maintaining love, peace & affection among general public. Society shall also attempt to create self-depending, self-confidence among the poor boys/ girls and handicapped persons through brainstorming and lecture sessions. Educate people to live in clean atmosphere, security and to strengthening of mutual cooperation & work for their peaceful living, maintain unity, integrity, fraternity and sense of discipline & responsibility. To assist the effected persons of natural calamities and to provide assistance to the injured who sustained injuries in road accidents, etc. Foundation is extensively working on the mission to save environment and other related issues and sensitize public to grow more trees on earth for ecological balance & accordingly planted more than 30,000 trees in Punjab, Himachal, Delhi & Jammu-Kashmir. Foundation is aggressively working to create awareness among the masses about human organ donation and its importance throughout the world. Accordingly, years back the Foundation started its National/International Organ & tissue donation awareness Campaign to literate people for more and more organ donation pledges to save millions of lives throughout the world every year. The team of society with its volunteers, motivated more than 60 million of general public through awareness camps/Religious gathering/social-media/articles/newspapers/ brochures/stories/poetry etc. throughout the Pan India. The results of this widespread campaign is that, now the people are going to listen and coming forward to understand the importance of precious human organs & tissues that can saves the life of millions every year.
